Disaster Relief
“In 2024, nearly 300 million people around the world will need humanitarian assistance and protection, due to conflicts, climate emergencies and other drivers.”
- UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)
During natural disasters, conflicts, and other situations causing displacement, JLH is able to effectively provide assistance due to our teams of local leaders on the ground who can deliver relief and care.
For instance, during devastating floods in Pakistan, JLH's team swiftly mobilized to provide meals, food boxes, shelter, and blankets to the hardest-hit areas.
“Our home was swept away by the floods, and my family had nowhere to go and no food. Thank you to JLH for providing us shelter and food during this very difficult time.”
- Recipient of aid during devastating flooding in Pakistan, August 2022

In India JLH provided assistance during Covid, sourcing and shipping oxygen concentrators that saved many lives. Our team has quickly mobilized to provide aid during times of heavy flooding. We maintain a fund to be available quickly in times of need.
